CRAWFORD CO.—Police authorities in the city of Robinson have made a major pot bust stemming from an alleged fight that lead to an Aggravated Battery arrest last night.
Robinson police were called to a domestic at 1314 North Cross Street in town last night around midnight (CORRECTED) on a report of a domestic argument that had escalated to a fight.
When they arrived, they somehow gained access to a location inside the home where a good-sized alleged indoor grow operation of pot plants was found. About 20 plants were seized after a warrant was secured.
Arrested were Timothy Myer, 28, and Roxanne Schuch, 24, both on counts of Unlawful Production of Cannabis and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Myer also was charged on a preliminary count of Aggravated Battery.
A man who had been at the house just prior to the alleged fight and subsequent arrest had bought a phone from Schuch after she’d responded via Facebook to a request for one that he’d run. The man, a computer technician by trade, advised Disclosure that Schuch had also had him fix a laptop that she had, this being done outside the North Cross Street home. He advised that he left apparently shortly before the call was made to authorities about the fight, and said that Schuch had met him outside, not allowing him in the house, for the phone sale (this being for $100) or the laptop fix. “She seemed fine; everything seemed normal except that she didn’t have me come in the house,” he told Disclosure. “But I wonder if they were fighting over the $100 I’d just paid her for the phone.”
Future court dates for Myer and Schuch haven’t been posted yet.
