SHAWNEETOWN—A fire at a two-story residence on Highway 13 in Shawneetown was knocked down in less than 30 minutes tonight, Friday, 03.15.13.
We don’t have details on the fire, including whether there was anyone home at the time and if there were, whether anyone was injured. The fire was called in at about 11:30 p.m. Three departments—Shawneetown, Ridgway and Old Shawneetown—responded.
The house sits directly across from the old school in Shawneetown on Highway 13.
