MASSAC CO., Ill. - Every once in awhile we get a good laugh from mugshots we peruse.
We checked Massac County this morning because we got a tip that some Hardin County notables have been arrested and charged with meth and pill crimes. Often Hardin sends their detainees to Massac, which has a sizable jail.
We're still working on the Hardin arrests, but while cruising through the Massac mugs, we saw these and got a kick out of them, and thought you might, too...just a little distraction while you're waiting for your print edition to hit the stands (for those who have an online membership to the e-Edition, you're probably already informed...but we'd recommend getting a print version, since the bunch who are most likely responsible for the past five DOS or other attacks on our website are, for the most part, all on the front page(!) Yeah, you gotta see it; it's that awesome. Anyway, take a look at these mugs:
Tyler Bray
Mr. Bray, age 20, is a Metropolis arrestee; he's accused of a meth possession crime. Look at that face. Are you surprised?
Anthony Sandusky
Anthony Sandusky, 29, another Metropolis arrestee, might be a little downcast, not because he was creeping his ex's Fecesbook page (although his expression might indicate such a thing), but because he had a Williamson County warrant because he FTA'd on an Aggravated Assault charge there. Considering that the local arrest was Domestic Battery...maybe he WAS creeping. Who knows.
Odaisha Short
Ms. Short is a Johnson County detainee, a distinction that we probably needed so that we wouldn't think she was out partying with Mr. Bray above. Her warrant, however, was out of White County, Indiana...and it's for a unique alleged crime: Battery By Bodily Waste. Did she allegedly batter-by-bodily-waste a person out on the skreet? was it at a public gathering? (probably not, as it's not Aggravated Battery by Bodily Waste) was it through the jail bars at White County, Indiana, at a guard, a la Silence of the Lambs? (probably not, as it'd be Aggravated, again...maybe...Indiana's a little different than Illinois, so who knows). Whatever the case, she seems to be happy to be incarcerated at Massac, where she gets three hots and a cot so she can work on her bodily waste batter...which is probably nothing like cookie dough batter.
