SALINE CO.—A traffic stop occurred at approximately 5:00 a.m. this morning, (Wed., Feb. 27, 2013) where backup was called and cop cars could be seen almost a block long, lined up on the side of the street.
The Meth Response Team was called in and were on scene for approximately three hours, along with law enforcement agents, at a residence located at 709 Park Street in Eldorado. Suspects are Tabitha Walters, 22, of Eldorado who has a couple of misdemeanor charges in Saline County from 2012 and Dereck Michael Miller, 24, of Harrisburg who is a convicted felon dating back to 2009. The police could be seen at the address for approximately three hours.
Mr. Miller has pending charges from December 2010. He was charged with the following offenses: Unlawful Meth Manufacturing more than 100 less than 400 grams, Unlawful Possession of Meth Precursor less than 15 grams, Unlawful Possession of Meth Manufacturing Materials, Unlawful Possession of Meth less than five grams and Unlawful Possession of Weapon By a Felon. His court date for the 2010 charges was scheduled for March 7, 2013.
