UPDATE 11:15 P.M.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to Crawford Memorial, being belligerent and combative all the way in the ambulance. He is believed by our sources to be Jason Frederick, although that hasn’t been confirmed by authorities. However, it’s been confirmed that his wife, Tiffany, is in the hospital there ready to have a c-section. And the vehicle wrecked, while belonging to Tiffany, isn’t the infamous white car, but is a new car. More as we get it.

LAWRENCE/CRAWFORD COs.—The elusive Tiffany Frederick vehicle was at it again tonight between Crawford and Lawrence counties, and this time, the law has caught up to it—maybe for the last time, too.

Regular readers will recall the exploits early in 2012 of Jason Frederick, who was apparently the intended victim of a house shoot-up in Lawrenceville in what was described as a likely drug feud involving Frederick and some area lowlifes.

Then, over the summer, the name arose again when a white car registered to Tiffany Frederick (Jason’s wife) was found abandoned at Jamie Brunson’s laundromat on the main drag in Lawrenceville, and was towed but retrieved by Jason…who shortly thereafter incurred a DUI ticket, and it was towed again, this featured in the August special edition last summer.

Now, the vehicle belonging to Tiffany Frederick has been involved in a high-speed chase on county roads near Birds (in north Lawrence County).

While our reports haven’t mentioned a name yet, we do know that a male driver was behind the wheel of a car belonging to Tiffany Frederick of Lawrenceville, traveling in excess of 85 miles an hour, first on County Road 1850 North. The vehicle went through someone’s yard, then hit “108′s squad” (we’re working on who “108″ is, exactly; this came straight from scanner traffic).

The reports next were that he was “around the house by the turkey barn” at 1850 North and 1470 in Lawrence County…then in the middle of a field. Next came a report of the occupant of the vehicle throwing out a powdery white substance from the car, along with a rag, this “near the turkey barn.”

In the end, two squad cars had been hit, with “108′s” needing a flat bed and the second needing a tow, and the Frederick car having gone down into a deep ravine, with the driver being trapped. Lawrence County deputies as well as fire and ambulance were on scene as he was extricated. Illinois State Police was en route as the information was being sent to us, at about 10:15…so we may know more in the morning. Keep checking back; we’d like to know if it’s Jason Frederick driving, or one of the other lowlifes on the drug scene in Lawrence County.
