Here are your print headlines for the November/December 2012 print version of Disclosure, on stands in all areas as of Nov. 17; headlines for the new Disclosure Heartland, on stands in all north county locations as well, will be up shortly. This issue is on stands until on or about December 14/15; we’re trying to work a new print schedule that enables us to get all papers on stands in two days instead of three, so bear with us. Something new this month is the direct link to the e-Edition article!
Each print headline is preceded by the dateline (where the information in the article took place) and followed by a brief synopsis. This issue has a number of remarkable articles and information that didn’t make it to the website; feel free to join our online membership and get the e-Edition of this print version delivered right here to your computer or phone, or get out and visit our vendors to pick up a copy and save it for posterity…this is one you’ll want to keep.
This issue will be on stands for the full four weeks as we’ve taken a little break before we launch into another round of issues every-three-weeks between Dec. 15 and February 15. That means there’ll be TWO issues in January; a bonus for subscribers of both the print version by mail and e-Edition online, as you get two papers for the price of one month’s worth…so be sure you subscribe in some form; 2013 is looking like it’s going to be an amazing year for us, and we have extra editions planned and remarkable changes in coverage area and expansion.
Now without further ado, here are your print headlines!
BRIDGEPORT—INDICTED: The FULL story of how Bridgeport mayor Max Schauf was brought down to the level of a Raymond Martin…and, as usual, how we called it in 2008….right down to the damn city checks he was caught allegedly cashing for his own purposes.
SALINE CO.—Arrest; fiery car crash: connected?: Not just another story hooking up Rodney Marcum with local dopers; these sources go back 20 years with him. You gotta read this to know.
RICHLAND CO.—Election night marred by horrific display: Wetawded Brian James O’Neill is out of control. We truly believe Richland County authorities are just waiting for one of two things to happen: Either he’s going to snap and harm someone so that he’ll be locked up on a felony he can’t bond out of; or someone else is going to snap and harm him irretrievably. Either way, it’ll be the fault of the Richland County authorities who’ve given him a pass all these years.
LAWRENCE CO.—Remains still unidentified—ISP aware of concerns of Ed Hataway family: More detailed information on the skeletal remains found alongside U.S. Highway 50 just east of the Sumner turn…along with heretofore unpublished photos of the creek site where it was found.
LAWRENCE CO.—And the voters WIN this election: Election wrap-up in one of the counties where the stakes were extremely high and meant the difference between fiscal solvency or fiscal impossibility.
CARRIER MILLS—Man once under suspicion in Oklahoma murder hemmed up in Carrier Mills: For those who did not get to read the material about the juggalo Cody “Knox” Perez, here’s the story. For those who did, the complete police report is in this article, so you have something different to read than you already have.
MT. CARMEL—Police chief endures scrutiny over being placed on leave: Another one for those who followed the issue with Jeff Besing online, but…..with a lot more detail.
NEWTON—Bomb threat called in at high school: And still more material that we followed closely online, but this has considerably more detail.
RICHLAND CO.—County sponsored meth dealer charged: Hard to believe, but they’re at it again: Andy Hires and David Hyde have another “designated place” where dope is being sold…..and they won’t tell anyone where it is, so how can we know what to avoid?
SALINE CO.—Continued violence out of IYC youth prisonC: Bad kids in juvie, acting out…but this guy’s not juvie aged (19) and it almost sounds like he was provoked.
CRAWFORD CO.—Sex crimes, DUI drugs and theft featured on police report: Crawford crim roundup.
HAMILTON CO.—Violence, dope, Pop Tarts & Pringles on criminal blotter: Strange little crim roundup from HamCo, some of it having to do with thieved food…..
CLAY CO.—Two major cases in Clay County reach outcomes: For those of you who wondered what happened with the Howard Weidner cases, here it is. For those of you who wondered what happened with the Ellery Thomas case, we’ve got that too, but not in the detail you’ve been demanding, because it was a stipulated plea agreement. You’ll just have to read the article to understand.
WHITE CO.—No prelim for Brown; Coston returns 2013: Following the White County murders cases, wherein both Danny K. Coston and his pregnant girlfriend, Candice Brown, have both had recent hearings…..and the latest rumor to arise out of the case is put to rest in this article.
SALINE CO.—Gunshots, yelling lead cops to meth cook: We have a saying around here: “You’ve gotta be on it to understand why they act how they do.” We’re not on it, we don’t understand, but it makes for some amusing copy.
LAWRENCE CO.—Meth still king in Lawrence as cops crack down on dope: The crim roundup in Lawrence…and meth is rampant. Will new prosecutor Chris Quick get it under control? That’s very possible.
CISNE—Rest in peace, Mr. Lane: A brief obit on Ang’s favorite teacher, who took his own life November 13, right as we were finishing the print version.
SALINE CO.—Trio busted on illegal gun selling tip from high profile drug agent: A detailed little article about some of the weapons crimes going on in Harrisburg. Somebody you know might be in this story….and the cops are looking for more, so be sure to read this one.
JASPER CO.—New county board officers take seats, get down to county business: Jasper County had three board members retire this go-round, taking 50 years of experience with them.
CRAWFORD CO.—Idiot charged with threatening officer on recorded jail telephone: No one ever said Jody Stifle was very smart. This article removes all doubt.
CRAWFORD CO.—Doper ‘Prozac’ charged with yet another DUI; will anything be done this time?: David what’s-his-name from notoriety in Wabash, Lawrence and now Crawford. This guy deserves whatever he has coming to him…as long as it’s not a slap on the wrist and probation.
GALLATIN CO.—Theft, criminal damage and drugs top police crim report: Basic crim activity in GallCo, now that Raymondo’s going to be resentenced, Cody has been sentenced, and Tina’s spending weekends in jail.
HAMILTON CO.—Cops claim large meth, cannabis bust: Taking dope off the street, a little at a time….and sometimes a LOT.
WAYNE CO.—Local media not reporting attempted murder: The Reggie Shemwell beating in Fairfield is being mischaracterized by local mainstream media. The real question, of course, is WHY?

WAYNE CO.—Should be proud of itself for such a good voter turnout!
GALLATIN CO.—Voters say ‘no’ to ETSB tax surcharge, judges; ‘hello’ to new circuit clerk
WABASH CO.—Just one contested race on ballot
SALINE CO.—A mixture of good and bad on election night; Home Rule overthrown
RICHLAND CO.—It was all about the upsets as challengers prevail
HARDIN CO.—Republicans selected as the new faces of the local political landscape
JASPER CO.—Arson suspect has appearance in court: Travis Ferguson in a little piece about how he’s probably really happy Kevin Parker won re-election as state’s attorney.
RICHLAND CO.—Don’t worry, he’ll be back: We had to let the massive tome that is the recounting of the past two years of our life in the court system, first over Ev’s guardianship case, then over an insane and bogus Order of Protection, go this month as our news budget on the election wrap-up as well as massive breaking stories like Max being indicted ate up the 28 pages. We have a planned remedy for that as of the December 14/15 issue….and you are going to be thrilled with that solution.
CLAY CO.—Burglar and dealing pot from motel: Clay County crim wrap.
