We apologize for the slow posts. Where we are has very limited internet reception (even thought the place was supposed to, according to the package, have DSL…they do, it’s just that we don’t have the PASSWORD for it), so we’re not able to get to the site very often. We’ve left staff to manage things, but apparently there just hasn’t been a lot of news since a couple of days ago, which has its good and bad.

So stay faithful…hang around the site for awhile, check out old posts, make a few comments, be sure you ‘like’ us on Facebook if you haven’t already. We’re down south trying to get Ang to relax (an arduous task) and will be back in time next week to attend Raymond Martin’s re-sentencing…which we believe is a waste of the court’s time, but he managed to get it this far, so we’re going to be there in Benton to cover it for you.

We’ve gotten some tips on some interesting stories, first and foremost the news about the alleged suicide of Anjel McMahon, wife of now-convicted murderer Randall O. McMahon out of Hamilton County. Those of you who are regular readers will recall that McMahon, in his 60s, was the guy who shot and killed a young man who was escorting Anjel around, doing so right in front of their baby daughter. We learned the other night that Anjel McMahon supposedly hung herself at a tree outside her mother’s house in Olney, this according to multiple sources in Richland County. We haven’t confirmed this with any official source, so it’s all hearsay at this point….but it’s intriguing. Anjel was only about 26 or so; supposedly, she was distraught over the death of her sister, a victim of homicide. Like I said…none of this is 100 percent, none of it’s coming from officials, and when we get back to the area, we’ll cover it for you thoroughly.

In the meantime, get out there and get your print version; this one’s on stands for another three weeks; and we’ll even get ‘this month’s print headlines’ to you with some new features…we’re redesigning some things, and are looking at updating some stuff in the print version too….so be watching, and thanks for reading!!
