SALINE CO., Ill.—Saline County Sheriff Keith Brown’s department has issue a nixle alert regarding flooded roads.
Texas City Road and Hines Road, both in the low-lying area northwest of Highway 45 north of Eldorado, were underwater as of two hours ago and both were impassible at that point.
If the situation changes, we’ll try to bring it to you.
Below are maps of the area showing the roads at a little bit more of a closeup than what actually show Eldorado, but those familiar with that area will know exactly where the mess is.
Consistent rains overnight and throughout the day today have caused some of the low-lying roads to go underwater in the county.
