U.S. DISTRICT COURT, SOUTHERN DISTRICT OF ILLINOIS—Jacque Lee Brown, 43, of Olney, Illinois, was indicted on December 2, 2014, on a methamphetamine related charge in a one count Indictment returned by a Federal Grand Jury sitting in Benton, Illinois, Stephen R. Wigginton, United States Attorney for the Southern District of Illinois, announced today.
The indictment charges that from April 8, 2009, to September 7, 2012, in Richland County, Brown did knowingly and intentionally possess Pseudoephedrine pills, knowing and having reasonable cause to believe that the pills would be used to manufacture methamphetamine,
Brown faces up to 20 years’ imprisonment, up to $250,000 fine, and a supervised release term of up to 3 years.
The investigation in this case was conducted by the Richland County Sheriff’s Office. The case is being handled by Assistant United States Attorney George Norwood.
