Vincennes City Police have made an arrest in connection with an early morning Armed Robbery Attempt at Hucks convenience store at 1515 Washington Avenue.
Shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday, Vincennes Police were dispatched to the area near Hucks at 1515 Washington Avenue after a nearby resident saw two males in suspicious clothing and acting in a manner consistent with intentions to rob the store.
Vincennes City Police, Vincennes University Police, and Indiana State Troopers all canvased the area after it was reported the subjects fled on foot.
Thereafter two black males were located a few blocks from the store. Near Hucks, Officers located stashed in the bushes, a black bag, ski mask, and a dangerously realistic looking air pistol.
