While mining coal has brought jobs and industry to southern Illinois, it also can have its drawbacks. It can be a temporary, transient thing…and when it leaves, it leaves quite a mess in its wake.
In order to address this and other issues, Shawnee Hills and Hollers is putting on a program at the Harrisburg Public Library next week, December 17.
