RICHLAND CO., Ill.—The woman who was in a pre-Thanksgiving auto accident in Richland County has died of her injuries.
Jalynn Hinton, 19, of Sumner, died yesterday (December 7, 2014) after surviving more than a week and a half following a devastating two-car crash in rural Richland County that took the life of her boyfriend, Caleb Mason, 19, also of Sumner.
The accident occurred Wednesday, November 26, at about 7:15 p.m. Mason was thrown from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation by Illinois State Police.
