Edwards County — David W Golden, 35, has been charged in Edwards county with fleeing from an arresting Officer, as well as other drug related offenses.
According to official court documents, Golden is accused of having been found to be in possession of ammonium nitrate from cold packs, and clonazapam without a prescription by Sgt. Gary Ivy of the Edwards County Sheriff’s Department. When Ivy placed Golden under custody, Golden is accused of escaping from Ivy’s custody.
As a result of these alleged actions by Golden, he was charged in Edwards County with a Class 2 Felony county of Escape, a Class 2 Felony count of Methamphetamine Manufacturing Materials, and a Class 4 Felony count of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance.
Golden made his 1st appearance today (Tuesday, December 2, 2014), at which time his bond was set for $7500 cash. He was also set for a preliminary hearing on December 16, 2014.
