JACKSON CO., Ill.—Another battery of a restaurant manager has been charged in Jackson County, this one in Murphysboro.
The incident that occurred yesterday morning (Friday, November 21, 2014), unlike the one late Thursday night, happened at that town’s McDonald’s, which, as it’s situated (right across the street from the courthouse and consequently, plenty of law enforcement authorities within a short distance), was a really dumb decision.
In this instance, a customer, Jami Lynn Boyer, 30, Murphysboro, was reported to have been arguing with the McDonald’s employees “over food items” (if McDonald’s fare can actually be considered ‘food.’)
Ms. (we’re presuming; it could easily be a ‘Mr.’) Boyer is reported to have thrown a soda on the floor of the restaurant and then threw her food behind the counter.
Authorities were called and found Ms./Mr. Boyer outside the business, having been ushered there by store employees. Boyer was then charged with a single count of Battery and taken around the corner to the county jail. It’s a pretty sure bet Ms./Mr. Boyer will suffer the full recompense for her/his alleged crime, as authorities in Jackson aren’t busy attempting to address things like suspicious deaths of young people.
As far as can be ascertained in the Quatro’s case, there have been no arrests made, so this makes the score in Jackson County Battered Restaurant People 1, Batterers 1.
