NEW YORK—There are a lot of adverse things to be said for life in southern Illinois, and the weather is among that number.
And while we may have had an arctic blast rip through the area recently, with light snowfall, at least we’re not western New York state.

Be grateful we’re not western New York…and pray that Illinois isn’t the next in line for a snow dump.
