WHITE CO., Ill.—A Grayville man has received a sentence in Illinois Department of Corrections following a plea today in White County circuit court.
Joshua Lee Reynolds, 35, was sentenced in a Class 2 felony Robbery case that dates back only a month (September 26, 2014). In exchange for the plea, Reynolds received a 7-year sentence which will be followed by two years parole, and he must pay $227 in fines and fees.
Also in exchange for the plea, a Class 3 felony Aggravated Battery count and a Class 4 felony Possession of Controlled Substance count were both dismissed.
White County State’s Attorney Denton Aud credited the Grayville Police Department, with assistance from the White County Sheriff’s Department and Edwards County Sheriff’s Department, for their handling of the matter.
