Here are your print headlines for the annual October Special Edition, which contains a portion of this year’s presidential/general election coverage; the rest will be given in the regular October edition, which will be out in a little more than two weeks. Deliveries for this issue are expected to be complete by tonight, whereupon we may be covering some area meetings in South Counties (just wait and see about THAT…) Disclosure Heartland deliveries will commence tomorrow as we are able to reach those counties following the Danny K. Each print headlines is preceded by a dateline (the location where the article’s information originates) and is followed by a brief synopsis.
RICHLAND CO.—OP attempt to block publishing rights fails—Contrary to what Brian James O’Neill is claiming, the basis of the entire OP ordeal I’m involved in is a publishing matter. We beat it, because I took an OP as opposed to compromising my rights to publish. This is the first in a series….and you’re not going to believe the shit these people have put us through.

WHITE CO.—’Not Guilty’ plea entered in murders; plea comes days after girlfriend arrested—You might think you’re up to date on the situation with the Wheeler/Evans murders. If you haven’t read this article, you’re not. There’s a lot brewing behind the scenes, and we said a little over a month ago that info we were producing would piss some people off…get ready…this is the beginning of that.
LAWRENCE CO.—NO PLEA AGREEMENT—Everyone who was wondering why there was no update on the Bob Westall murder case last month can rest easy this month: it’s on the front page, and boy are some taters steamed in Lawrence County….especially those belonging to their prosecutor, who wants to be reelected next month.
HARRISBURG—STORM brewing in Harrisburg?—This story has been brewing for a number of months, ever since Tim Hershey got in contact with us; it took until September to sort out the details with the appropriate public officials. We have both sides of the story, and we feel like we did a level job. You read it, and let us know.

OLNEY—Contention arises over authorities’ efforts, or lack thereof, regarding missing man—Ed Hataway is still missing. In this article, we tell you what the other media is missing about the case, and the slack way authorities dealt with it that may have caused crucial time to be lost in his recovery.
LAWRENCE CO.—Correction/amplification: We had it wrong about a county board meeting last issue. This is an explanation of how we had it wrong.
OLNEY—Olney Arts Council Arts in the Park photo layout. We’re not very happy with the print job on this. We’re working on that.
LAWRENCEVILLE—Suspension of city employees develops into charges, arrests for official misconduct and theft—Three have been arrested and charged, and the details aren’t very clear exactly as to why…unless someone has lied/is lying. Which, because it’s Lawrence County, is an inherent problem no matter which way you approach it.

WHITE CO.—Sex offender gets four years for not registering—A White Co. roundup, which includes the largely-useless Eli James (in the headline), and the very freaky Mark Golden.
OLNEY—Town pest still annoys; leaf pick-up problems—The city of Olney has more problems than errant leaf pick-up issues…they have Brian James O’Neill, who is single-handedly driving businesses away from downtown and preventing others from siting in the city. And the city ‘leaders’ are lacking the testicular fortitude needed to deal with his shit….so what’s going to happen? is he going to be allowed to ruin Olney…or is there going to have to be an incident wherein his vulgar mouth is going to run away from his skanknasty ass and someone will give him the ultimate thumping of his life? Stick around…with O’Neill, it always CAN get worse.
HARDIN—Pot bust tops blotter—The two punks in Herod who Gideon Frailey came to the defense of last month have been charged…and he has no defense for that, as he himself has been locked up.
BRIDGEPORT—Chase ends with TASERing; perp lawyers up to fight meth charge—Bridgeport’s last remaining ‘cop,’ Scott Murray, “found meth” on Ricky Brochin. Really? Once again, Lisa Wade goes overboard listening to crooked cops, and probably to her detriment, as Brochin’s family isn’t playing, and is going to fight back.

HARDIN CO.—Man beaten over sex offense—Only in Hardin County….two liquored-up dumbasses go beat up a guy who was charged with a sex offense for allegedly having sex with the underage sister of one of them, whom the other one supposedly set them up to be seeing each other, and oh, yeah, the one who supposedly set them up is ALSO charged with a sex offense. Oooookay…take it back to Kentucky, guys.
GALLATIN CO.—Martin Saga almost at an end: Tina sentenced with slap on the wrist—A huge segment of Gallatin County is pissed off over Tina Naas Martin’s sentencing outcome. This article explains why.
