ASKS YOU TO COMMIT TO SAFE DRIVING
Celebrate My Drive® powered by State Farm® encourages safe driving with a chance to win big in Junction
(October 17, 2014) — GCHS staff and students are committed to keeping teens safe on the road. They are asking everyone 14 and older to go to www.celebratemydrive.com once a day, every day, from Oct. 15 to Oct. 24. The more safe driving commitments our community makes, the better their chance to win a $100,000 grant and a private concert by The Band Perry.
Learning to drive is a big step in life. State Farm and the GCHS Business Club recognize getting a driver’s license is an important and joyous time. Celebrate My Drive celebrates this milestone with new drivers by encouraging them to make positive choices like driving 2N2®: 2 eyes on the road and 2 hands on the wheel. Go to www.celebratemydrive.com today to support the Hawks and safe driving.
About Celebrate My Drive®: Celebrate My Drive is a different approach to a leading public health risk. Car crashes are the number one killer of teens, and a teen’s first year on the road is the most dangerous.Using research as a guide, State Farm is approaching teen driver safety, a winnable public health battle, by engaging teens while they learn to drive in a supportive and positive way. It’s a community celebration of safe driving habits emphasizing the benefits of safe choices as teens celebrate the freedom that comes with getting a drivers’ license.
