Our sources in Harrisburg have advised that while Smithpeters has been allowed back on campus, the report of his return to the ball team is INACCURATE. Sources in Jackson County have not been reached as of this morning to confirm; however, mainstream media reports are reflecting this information. Stay with us today as we reach out on this; it’s beginning to look more like a tennis match than basketball.

CARBONDALE—Reports coming in to Disclosure at this hour indicate that an ordeal might be over for a Harrisburg boy who was subject to some kind of campus investigation in recent days at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.
Tyler Smithpeters, 20, as it was reported last night, had been suspended from playing basketball for the Salukis at SIU-C, where he’s been for the past two years and is a standout on the team.
School authorities refused to advise the nature of the alleged infraction that prompted the temporary suspension, stating only that it was a violation of the Student Code of Conduct at SIU-C, and that Smithpeters had appealed the suspension to the chancellor.
It’s being reported to us this evening by a number of people that the decision to allow Smithpeters’ suspension to be lifted and for him to return to the team has been made, this after a recent hearing (reportedly October 3).
We have NOT confirmed this with official sources; however, our sources in Jackson County are advising that this is a valid outcome.
We have others who are working to get us material that indicates what the campus/SCC infraction was, per an email that was submitted to the students recently.
