FRANKLIN CO., Ill.—A Marion man is in custody today after a shooting yesterday in West Frankfort.
Koby. S. Humerickhouse, 21, was arrested yesterday following a shooting at a residence on Sandburg Road on the west side of West Frankfort. The shooting occurred at about 6:15 a.m. Friday, October 10.
Authorities haven’t released the name of the victim; however, they have stated that the shooting victim, a male, was hospitalized with what’s being characterized as “major injuries.”
Humerickhouse has been formally charged with Aggravated Battery with a Firearm, and remains jailed at this time.
There’s been no word as to what any kind of motive was in the alleged incident, not what kind of weapon was used.
