WILLIAMSON CO., Ill.—The man who was the subject of a local alert on the basis of being wanted by authorities has been located, and Williamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance.
Dale Ray Bozarth, 39, is a registered sex offender who was the subject of media alerts on Wednesday of this week.
Yesterday afternoon (Thursday, October 9) Marion Police Department received an anonymous tip with information regarding Bozarth’s location. Marion PD Officers used this information to locate Bozarth, and placed him in custody without incident.
Bozarth is currently being held in the Williamson County Jail on a charge of Failure to Report Change of Address – Sex Offender Registration, with Bond set at $50,000 ($5,000 cash).
