SALINE CO., Ill.—Saline County authorities have released information on an arrest that occurred last night south of Eldorado.
An Eldorado man was taken into custody following a search warrant being executed at 1385 Perkins Road.

Joseph S. Robertson, 44, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Meth Manufacturing, Possession of Meth with Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Cannabis less than 30 grams.
During the search, authorities recovered the following items: 145 grams of crystal meth, over 5,000 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine, $18,845 in U.S. currency, a .38 caliber pistol, a 410 shotgun, 31 Lortabs, 24 Xanax and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
The investigation was led by the Saline County Sheriff’s office and the Southern Illinois Drug Task Force, with assistance from the Illinois State Police Methamphetamine Response Team and the Illinois State Police Tactical Response Team.
