Clark County family’s federal case over

Disclosure,

We are sure you are aware that the Gregory and Terrance Yates case has come to a close. This family’s money has spoken again. He and his son stole millions of dollars from their banks. They pleaded guilty to money laundering. Working through bankrupt family business, Casey Tool and Machine Company. What did they get? Gregory Yates gets one year, which means probably six months. One can only guess which country club federal prison he will be privileged to attend.

His son gets a year of house arrest, big deal. He will be free to have his friends over, watch his videos and keep up with his email and spend our money.

This case is a slap in the face to people who have done far less crimes and gotten far more sentences. If there were ever a case to prove it, crime is for sale to the highest bidder in this country and it happened right under the nose of people of Casey, Illinois. They may hide behind the protection of their church, but anyone who would condone or make light of this crime is just as bad as the perpetrators.

The next time you pass their closed business, remember your federal tax dollars paid for all this.

To the Editor,

In answer to Commissioner Baungarte’s article in our local paper 6-11-2014, it seems I have hit a nerve by going public with some of my dealings with him. Commissioner Baungarte you do not go to a person and tell them you are writing a letter about them. You say you will talk to them face to face, well you did that when you came to my house that November day and talked about my court case. My good friend Jim Bolen, now deceased, was at my home, so I remember it well, and what was said. With the feedback I get from my letter to the editor, I feel good about them and if the city council feels hassled, then I guess that is their problem to solve. Commissioner Baungarte suggested I write a letter to my congressman and work for the city. I do not work against the city. When I write a letter to this paper about our city, I cannot paint a rosy picture when there is none. Commissioner Baungarte said he was taught to talk face to face and not stab people in the back, good for Ronnie, because I have been the one who had been stabbed, not once but several times and several ways. As for Commissioner Burnett agreeing with Baungarte 100 percent, before Bob Burnett was elected, I told him if he got elected he would be just like the rest of the council and he said, “NO”. You now see how he chimed in, but when I write a letter to this paper I sign it, I don’t hand it to a woman friend to sign and take it to the news office. Like he did. Commissioner Baungarte has been your commissioner over the sewer plant so please read about our sewer plant titles “Your City of Benton Waste Water Treatment Plant”. Maybe Commissioner Burnett will bring you a copy, as he is always offering cab service.

Edgar County preacher speaks out about corruption

RE: Jesus-Politics-Court System

By: Rev. C.K. Nay

After graduating from a Christian Law School (University of Tulsa College of Law) in 1990 I studied for and passed, the most difficult licensing exam in the United States, the Arizona licensing exam for Attorneys in 1992. After that experience I passed a Charter and Fitness Examinations and Ethics exam. After all of this I was later approved to practice law in Arizona. I am telling all of this because I want you to know that I went through a lot for my license to practice law. I would not have thrown my license away to steal any amount of money. I was billing at a rate of $150 per hour. I knew I was going to make millions in my career. Plus, consider all of the effort into what it takes to get that far in life.

What I took away from practicing law in Arizona was a life-long lesson in politics. On October 20, 1994 I mailed my ethics complaint against an enemy who was a judge. The complaint was sent to the Commission On Judicial Conduct in Phoenix, Ariz. The same judge, after reading my ethics complaint, told his attorney to lie to the Flagstaff Police Department. They told the police that I stole over $23,000 from the same attorney. It was an evil lie, made in a bad faith effort, to impeach my credibility for speaking the truth.

They tried convincing the Commission that I should not be believed. It was an obvious political prosecution. I was later indicted by a Grand Jury who was never told my side of the facts in this matter. Grand jurors only hear from Prosecutors as whether to indict a target. I was the governments’ target. The government knew better. Prosecutors knew that I was the judge’s enemy and that I had filed an ethics complaint against the same judge immediately before the police were called by the judge’s attorney. I made sure prosecutors knew the truth about this political and legal move by the judge and his attorney. But prosecutors chose to serve the judge in this matter instead of the best interests of justice. Why? It happened because the judge assigned the matter as to whether I was a thief was guess who?!? It was the same judge I filed my ethics complaint against. I got indicted because of politics of life by my enemy. Everyone served their own interest by supporting the judge instead of me. Everyone came after me. My own public defender tried convincing me that my ethics complaint against the judge was not relevant and that I should think of another defense to the charge of theft. The public defender refused to put his life on the line be attacking the judge and his attorney. The whole state of Arizona came after me. When the court system came after me I basically went nuts. I developed insanity. I lost my sanity. I was looking at spending 65 years in prison for crimes I knew I did not commit. My constitutional rights to effective assistance of counsel and a fair trial were denied. My only hope was divine intervention by God. A neutral judge later dismisses the allegations against me due to insufficient evidence and my mental incompetence to stand trial. God intervened. I thank God every day for my freedom. If it were not for God’s deliverance in this matter I would be sitting in prison today.

Jesus, who is pure love and perfect holiness, was attacked by the court system of his day. Jesus is God. If God can get prosecuted don’t be surprised if it happens to you. I know this because it happened to me. Jesus got prosecuted because of politics. Jesus previously told religious leaders that He was the Son of God and God. Religious leaders went ballistic. They called for their brand of justice. Jesus was in danger because of the politics of life. Instead of examining all the evidence about what Jesus did while on this cruel planet they told Pontious Pilot to “Crucify Him!” They had all the evidence before them. All they had to do was to believe in Jesus. Instead, they made a dirty political move to kill Jesus. They sinned against God. Jesus was later scourged and crucified to death on the Cross On Calvary. God let the politics of life happen because God knew that Jesus was the perfect, sinless, pure sacrificial lamb of God who takes away the sins of the World. We have salvation from our sins because of what Jesus endured on the Cross. We are redeemed. Amen. Thank God for Jesus the Christ.

There is good and bad news about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. First, let’s start with the bad news because it is about us. Romans 3:23 teaches, “all of fallen short of the glory of God.” In other words, we are all sinners. The bad news gets worse. Romans 6:23 teaches, “the wages of sin is death.” In other words, we deserve to die for our sins. But the good news is that the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ. The Holy Bible says at Acts 16:31, “Believe on he Lord Jesus and thou shall be saved.” The good book also says at Romans 10:13, “Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved.”

If you want to be saved from going to hell say the following simple salvation prayer, “Dear God, I admit that I have been a sinner. Please forgive my sins. Please take me out of the Devil’s family and put me into your holy family. I pray you save me. In Jesus Name, I pray, Amen.”

If you just said that prayer from a sincere heart then you are a Born Again Christian and you will go to Heaven when your body dies. May God richly bless you while you  are on your walk with Christ. Amen.
