Garden of the Gods
KARBER’S RIDGE, Ill. – An Indiana man was injured in a fall at the Garden of the Gods this afternoon.
Saline County Sheriff Keith Brown has advised that Central Dispatch received a transfer 911 call at 1:44 p.m. Saturday afternoon, reporting that a male had fallen near Table Rock at the Garden of the Gods. Saline County EMS and Saline County deputies responded to the scene.
Nicholas R. Zoglman, 21 of Newburgh, Indiana fell near the Table Rock formation and suffered a knee injury. Zoglman was brought out of the park with the assistance of the Equality Fire Department, Saline County EMS and Saline County officers.
Zoglman was flown from the scene by Air-Evac helicopter to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.
