WILLIAMSON CO., Ill.—Two names with which Saline County residents are painfully familiar were busted in Williamson County Monday evening.
Local police made the bust after a routine traffic stop in Herrin just after 6:30 p.m. August 4 on South Park Avenue. Upon the vehicle being stopped, police found Joshua M. Ragan, 38, and Misty L. Rector, 34, both of Eldorado and both with lengthy criminal histories in Saline County, with an alleged active meth lab in the vehicle…as well as a 10-year-old child present.
Ragan was charged with Aggravated Participation in Methamphetamine Manufacturing and Possession of Meth Manufacturing Material, both Class 2 felonies, as well as Meth-Related Child Endangerment, a Class X felony. Rector was charged with the Class X Meth-Related Child Endangerment and the Class 2 Aggravated Participation in Meth Manufacturing, but was also charged with a Class 3 felony Possession of Meth less than 5 grams count.
They’re being held in the Williamson County jail pending a court appearance. More as we get it; check back often.
