HARDIN CO.— The woman who played a key snitch role in one of the most widely-covered cocaine trials in the area claims she has been a victim of recent burglary and theft.

As a result, Jennifer L. Cowsert, of Hardin County, has been charged with Residential Burglary and Theft.

According to the scant information filed in the case by state’s attorney Tara Wallace, Cowsert’s victim is none other than Carolyn McGhee, infamous if only for her role in the Saline County Tim Monroe cocaine trial of February 2010.

McGhee was part of the drug taskforce undercover team wired up to catch Monroe selling cocaine.

She was also alleged, from the witness stand, to have posed for a nude photo or two during her tryst with Monroe, who claimed she acted as his housekeeper.

McGhee’s acceptance in social circles plummeted dramatically following Monroe’s conviction.
