ELDORADO—We received official word late last night that a local miscreant got a wild hair last Friday and went a little nuts in Eldorado.
According to Eldorado sources, one Aaron Rector, 15, is the suspect in one of the cases, this one involving a break-in at the garage of a home in ‘rado on or about Friday, March 16. Authorities say that upon break-in at the garage of the home which sits just outside the city limits of Eldorado, a late-model Jeep was stolen. The homeowners at this location were out of town at the time. The suspect (Rector) drove the Jeep until he struck a tree, then left the scene of that accident and drove toward Beulah Heights.
However, another driver actually saw the accident, and wrote down the plate numbers, resulting in law enforcement being dispatched.
Up in Beulah Heights, the kid ran into a garage with the Jeep, whereupon it was apparently undriveable. When the homeowner came out to see what the hell was going on, Rector allegedly had the audacity to ask the guy if he had some tires he could put on the Jeep, as apparently the second collision had knocked one or more from the wheels. Rector was then apprehended.
Sources indicate, however, that the kid wasn’t alone initially. Allegedly, he was running with “two drug thugs” who were either not present at this particular location or had already abandoned Rector. They then resurfaced a few days later, after an Escalade owned by one Brad Williams and another Jeep owned by Gerald Brown were also stolen. Williams’ vehicle has not yet been found and right now, we haven’t been able to learn exactly when it was taken. Brown’s Jeep has reportedly been recovered, and was taken between 9 p.m. Tuesday night (03.20.12) and 2 am. Wednesday morning (03.21.12). The two “drug thugs” have reportedly not yet been apprehended but the investigation continues.
However, Rector is reportedly in a heap of trouble.
According to sources close to him, Rector has been in and out of juvie several times, many of them felonies that would put an adult in prison for long sentences. He apparently fancies himself some kind of pot expert, and posts images of the plant on his Facebook page with salacious comments from himself and a host of other likely miscreant kids extolling the virtues of getting stoned. He lists his “employment” as “blunts r us” on said page. Reportedly, both of his parents are in prison and the kid lives with his grandparents in Broughton. But apparently it’s going to take DOC to get him to understand he can’t be doing what he’s doing…and he’s a couple of years, and who knows how many felonies, away from that.
Rector has a longstanding problem with this type of activity, too….in Hamilton County last year (Oct. 13), he was cited with a traffic violation of driving with no permit or license and being under the age of one who could obtain such license (15; he won’t turn 16 until July of this year). However, that’s just the mild stuff. Currently, reports are that he’s facing a charge of auto theft (in legalese, Conversion) and criminal damage to property; there may possibly be other charges as well.
And yes, for those of you wondering…this kid is a relative of the victim of the latest sex offender to emerge in Saline and surrounding counties (White, specifically), Maria G. Rector, 24, who is alleged to have had sex on numerous occasions with Aaron Rector’s cousin, RALR (we’re keeping him in initials only, as he is the purported victim of multiple sex crimes, and by multiple women). That article is featured on the front page of the current issue, on stands right now in select locations in the applicable readership area……it’s an interesting article, and will help you understand the level of sickness that revolves around this particular set of youths, and in society in general as things just seem to go from bad to worse.
More on the Aaron Rector matter as we get it…or, pick up the new edition of Disclosure, which will be available in about two and a half weeks, as we’ll surely have more input by then.
