(Vincennes, Indiana) Vincennes City Police have made an arrest in connection with several burglaries over the past few nights.
At about 12:44 AM Friday, Officers responded to an alarm call at McCoy’s Grocery at 2 W. Minneapolis. There, Officers discovered a break in had occurred at the business and items were missing.
Witnesses observed a male fleeing the area with a cash register and entering a residence. Police were able to secure a search warrant for a West Jefferson Avenue home near McCoy’s Grocery. There, police recovered items stolen from a burglaries reported Thursday morning including: Bethlehem General Baptist Church at 9 W. Jefferson, and from a private residence burglary at 1 W. Eberwine.
It was determined that additional burglaries had occurred believed to be connected including:

*Superior Auto 1000 N. 6TH where a Red 2006 Saturn Ion was stolen
*I’Mpressed Coffee 1427 N. 6TH
*Halter’s Market 1926 N. 6TH
*Norge Village and Cleaners 619 E. St. Clair
Officers and Detectives collected evidence and information throughout Friday morning…
