CLAY/EFFINGHAM COs.—Illinois State Police have released information about one of the two car crashes that occurred in Clay County, this one being a single vehicle rollover crash that occurred at the Clay-Effingham county line north of Bible Grove.
ISP reports that at 3:20 p.m. yesterday, May 8, 2014, Heather H. Theresa H. (CORRECTED) Rogers, 60, of Mason, was northbound on U.S. Highway 45 at the Clay-Effingham county line when the 2005 Dodge Dakota pickup she was driving left the roadway to the right, struck a guardrail, and rolled over and back into the road way.
Rogers was injured and was transported to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Effingham; her condition today was not made available.
Below is the approximate location of the wreck for this who might not be familiar with the area. Clay County is south of the county line (in red), Effingham is to the north; please bear in mind this is an APPROXIMATE location. More as we get it.
