HARRISBURG, Ill. — A vandalism spree that occured last night in Harrisburg has left extensive damage to both businesses and personal property.
The damages were discovered this morning by the victims of last night’s spree, and Harrisburg Police responded to record all of the damages. In total, four broken windows were reported, and smaller damages have been reported to Disclosure by individuals who found the damage this morning.
Its is estimated the vandal or vandals caused four to five thousand dollars worth of damage during their spree, which will amount to felony charges.
Harrisburg Police Chief Bob Smith told Disclosure that the vandalism occurred between the hours of Midnight and 6:00AM this morning. The vandalism was mainly focused along Poplar Street.
