MARION, Ill.—It’s been reported that shortly after 10 p.m. (about 10:10-10:15) an armed robbery of a Marion Dollar General Store took place this evening.
According to our sources in the area, at least one shot was fired in the course of the robbery.
The alleged robber/shooter was reported to have been an older-looking white male, who fired a shot in the store, then fled on foot.
