ELDORADO—It’s not like these two weren’t warned.
It isn’t like you can’t go to the courthouse and look at all the divorce filings and orders of protection on Freeman Shannon Todd Deuel (STD to his friends and enemies), “police chief” of the big burg of Eldorado, and get some of those red flashing warning lights that literally scream DON’T HOOK UP WITH THIS GUY.
It isn’t like you can’t go to the former Blair Baker’s divorce file at same Saline County courthouse location and see that the child was married for a period of time measuring in months before she took up with STD….before she even turned 21 (he’s in his 40s…mid-life crisis, anyone?)
It isn’t like both of them believe in allowing a respectful period of time to pass between relationships before taking up with someone else….both their histories (albeit as brief as hers is, since she’s only been out of diapers for less than two decades) show that they believe in the ‘overlap’ method of finding a new….er…’significant other.’
Hey, we wrote about it. They read us; we can tell by the IP numbers. They were WARNED.
But apparently, they went and did it anyway:

We don’t know if it’s real or not. These mindless 20-somethings these days call their bf’s “hubby” all the time (hell, some of them call the GIRLFRIENDS “hubby,” sick as that is), so she may have just changed her name on her profile pic for a lark.
But then again, maybe they went and tied the knot…maybe over in Cape, where they have both been going to a “doctor” to undergo “weight loss treatment”…so they’d both fit into the photo, apparently….
Anyway, if it’s true, we give it less than a year. If not, who knows how long she’s going to play everybody. What she probably DIDN’T think of was that it would land her right back here again…where STD doesn’t like to be. Too bad. All the other cops in and around Saline try to work with us…don’t know why Freeman refuses, but he does.
