Here’s a rundown of what was going on in the web pages of Disclosure over the past five years, beginning with 2013, on LOOKING BACK.

At the beginning of April (April 3-5), last year, we featured these articles:

On April 3, the headline read ”If they are shooting an automatic weapon at you, wouldn’t you like to have one?”, which was a quote from a temporary mayor in Percy, Illinois, regarding the discovery that the tiny town’s police force was armed to the teeth with automatic weapons obtained from LESO (Law Enforcement Surplus Office), and which displayed the police state mentality our country, but particularly Illinois, is drowning in.

Also on April 3, a CIVIL NO-CONTACT ORDER FILED IN PROSECUTOR V. DEPUTY CASE in which Deputy Dennis York had an OP issued against him by prosecutor Chris Quick after York went over the line one last time…and has been off the rolls ever since.

A big deal was going on in Robinson April 3: Major pot bust made in alleged grow operation outlined a bust was prompted by a report of a domestic argument.

Down in South Counties, the city of Harrisburg, and indeed most of Saline County, were on edge after an ARMED ROBBERY IN HARRISBURG was reported.

On April 4, 2013, the big headline was MOTION FOR NEW TRIAL OR ACQUITTAL FILED IN TERRY PAYTON CASE, which still has not been resolved following the prison sentence the 18-year-old is now serving.

The day also included a follow-up to the incident April 3, with Update on alleged robbery/attempted getaway, Saline County wherein Paul Marshall Jr., recently sentenced, was jailed and charged.

The adage of “don’t smoke pot and drive” came to the fore on April 4, with TRAVELING POT BUST IN WHITE COUNTY BY ISP.

And John Nicholson, Flora chief of police, issued a statement to the public through SCHOOL INCIDENT IN FLORA ADDRESSED BY CHIEF, this on April 5, 2013.

April 3/4, 2012, were busy news days:

Goofyass Bill Peyton

Goofyass Bill Peyton

The ever-present screwup, Bill Payton, had an article devoted to his non-stop political appointments to positions for which he was unqualified in Thinking about re-naming “The Peter Principle” to “The Peyton Principle”

In another ongoing thing, yet another Body found on Westport Levee yesterday, Lawrence County was reported.

Also on April 3, Westall murder case suspects make court appearance was covered.

On April 4, 2012, a dimbulb 18-year-old mad an appearance in an embarrassing series of Facebook photos after being arrested in Wayne County and Giving decent gun owners everywhere a BAD rep.

A very strange situation emerged in Hardin County on that date, in the article Allegations of sexual assault at Hardin County Schools: UPDATE.

In the first few days of April 2011, it was all about the election and the delivery of the new issue:

On April 4, 2011, we were on the way to deliver the April/May 2011 edition and told you about it in April paper on the way in; deliveries begin this evening.

The election then took front and center with Problems emerge early on in ‘rado elections, outlining some of the tactics the Eldorado people in charge of such things do so they will ensure things turn out their way.

And then we added a little humor to the whole mess, with Or, we could look at Eldorado elections like THIS.

Of course, we brought you the best of the entire issue in THIS MONTH’S PRINT HEADLINES, APRIL/MAY 2011!

We were rounding up election activity late into the night with New mayors in the area! Mt. CarmelNew mayors in the area! Harrisburg (without having ANY idea what we were about to be exposed to), Same ol same ol in rado…., and New city council members! Olney, with more to come.

There was even a bit of activity in the Raymond Martin situation with Possible federal indictments waiting in the wings.

In early April 2010, these articles appeared:

Dick Durbin. Being a...well...a dick.

Dick Durbin. Being a…well…a dick.

On April 2, much was being made over Dick Durbin’s upcoming appearance in the area, but we were not impressed, and said so in Half of everything that’s wrong with Illinois’ senate representation will be in Mt. Carmel next week.

The man who was peripherally involved in the death of Ashleigh Miller in Carrier Mills was featured in The fascinating case of Turtle Miller, after he was popped in Mt. Carmel.

Joel Moore

Joel Moore…still missing

And on April 5, an urgent message went out—This man is missing: Joel Moore; family urgently needs your help locating him. To this day, Moore has not been located.

And in April 2009, more news came in later in the month, as we were still getting used to having a website! Thanks for LOOKING BACK with us…more later this week!
