Here’s one that didn’t make it into the February/March 2012 print version on stands now:
U.S. DISTRICT COURT, BENTON—A man from Great Britain living in Vincennes, Ind., was sentenced late last month (January) to 12 years imprisonment in the Federal Bureau of Prisons for having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old Olney girl.

From Kriss Holland's now-defunct Twitter page. It may or may not be him.

Russell Kriss Holland, 34, who goes by the name of “Kriss,” was charged in District Court, Benton, last July with a two-count federal indictment of Travel in Interstate Commerce (across state lines) for the Purpose of Engaging in a Sexual Act with a minor child and Coercion of Enticement of a Minor Female.

The girl resided in Olney and was going back and forth between Richland County in Illinois and Knox County in Indiana for purposes of the girl “visiting with Holland’s own kids,” with whom she was friends.

The sexual activity, which included at least one admitted incident of intercourse but several admitted incidents of inappropriate touching and fondling of each other both through clothing and unclothed, occurred between Holland and his very underage paramour from June 2009 through March 2010.

At that time, he returned to England, and apparently, during his absence, the girl’s mother and/or grandmother learned, via explicit text messages on the teen’s phone, that she and Holland had been involved sexually and that the girl had even taken to calling Holland her “husband,” which naïve kids these days seem to be inclined to do with someone to whom they are not lawfully wed.

In a little-publicized step in the case, Kriss Holland entered a plea of guilty September 22, 2011, to Count 1 of a superseding indictment that focused on the Interstate Commerce for Sex portion of the original charge.

He was set for sentencing January 19, although the actual sentencing wasn’t signed off by a federal judge until the 25 th. Some of the delay might have been attributed to the fact that there were numerous presentencing investigation documents and material submitted in the case between October and January. All of the investigation material was sealed.

On the 25th, Holland was sentenced to 144 months (12 years) Bureau of Prisons. Upon release, he must remain on mandatory supervised release (probation) for life. He was also fined $500, as well as issued a special assessment fee of $100.
