POPE CO., Ill.—Information coming out of Pope County indicates that a Hardin County Work Camp van has been involved in a traffic incident in Pope.
Reportedly, the van was stopped by a tree-trimming crew near the turn to Pope County High School on Illinois 146 when it was rear-ended by another vehicle.
Eight inmates were reportedly in the van; multiple ambulance response has been made.
