POPE CO., Ill.—Authorities have released the identity of the person killed in a two-car accident Sunday, March 16, on Illinois 145 approximately two miles south of Route 146.
The deceased is Tamela (Tami) K. Conn, 44, a grade school teacher at Hardin County Schools.
Pope County Coroner Mark Aly advised that it was a two-car accident that took Conn’s life; in Conn’s vehicle was her daughter, whom Aly reported that at last check was doing okay. In the other people were three occupants; at this time, Aly was unaware of their conditions.
