Hundreds of Illinois residents applying for concealed carry licenses may have had their personal information compromised.
According to Illinois State Police, the application process opened on December 18, and ISP became aware of the vulnerability and fixed it on January 4. But the department won’t say if the site was compromised the entire time.
We talked to a local concealed carry license holder who applied on the first day to gauge his thoughts on the information vulnerability.
