WILLIAMSON CO., Ill.—Motorists passing by a location just off Illinois 13 in Marion at about 2:30 today saw a large number of Illinois State Police vehicles arriving, but ISP has been vague about exactly what’s going on.
The location is a residence at the corner of Fleming Road and Briggs Road, just off Route 13.
All any of the troopers would tell our correspondent when she arrived is that the situation was about “a family member” (he did not specify whose) and he asked that we “be respectful.”
Our correspondent reported that there were a total of TWELVE ISP squad cars present, as well as one ambulance, and a trailer of sorts that was described as a “horse trailer”-type.
