SALINE CO., Ill.—Saline County Sheriff Keith Brown has advised that as of this evening, Matthew Boyd has been apprehended after he bolted from the courthouse this morning.

Sheriff Brown alerted the public at around 3:30 this afternoon (Monday, February 24, 2014) that Boyd, 24, of Harrisburg, had run from the courthouse as he was being served a warrant.
He was located this evening; our sources are telling us that when Boyd was apprehended by local law enforcement, he just so happened to have been beaten and TASERed, this while surrendering peacefully, according to witnesses. We’ll try to confirm that.
Boyd is now in custody at the Saline County Detention Center.
