SALINE CO., Ill.—Saline County deputies and Harrisburg Police officers are searching for a wanted person who broke free from Saline County Court Security personnel this morning (Monday, February 24, 2014).
Matthew W. Boyd, 24, of Harrisburg, entered the Saline County Courthouse at approximately 10 a.m. Monday morning. Boyd broke from Courthouse Security as he was being taken into custody.
Boyd is wanted on a warrant for failure to appear on a previous charge of burglary and theft.
Boyd is five-foot-four-inches, 143 pounds, with brown hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt with black sleeves. Anyone with information on the location of Boyd is asked to contact the Saline County Sheriff’s Office at 618-252-8661.
