EDWARDS CO.—Just wanted to let everyone know about a big traffic snag going on at the intersection of Highway 130 and Highway 15 right in the middle of Albion, on the courthouse square.
This was going on at about 8:15 this morning, 02.01.12, when the groundhog saw his shadow…meh. Don’t see how he could have seen ANYTHING in this fog…

We don’t know what happened yet, but there’s a pole back there in front of the old antiques mall that was snapped and dangling (you can almost see it in the first pic, there in the background; we couldn’t get any closer to it because the state cops were directing traffic around it). Traffic is being re-routed, although when we were there it was hard to determine exactly how or where. Looked like there were cops further up the hill from Champ on Walnut, so they might be routing everyone past the water tower through the residential area there.
If you’re in the area, use caution! The fog is atrocious. This situation can’t help any.
