CARBONDALE, Ill.—Authorities are at this moment looking for a silver SUV that left Memorial Hospital of Carbondale after reportedly dropping off a man with a gunshot wound.
Scanner reports indicate that the SUV, with several black males inside, more or less dumped a black man with a gunshot wound at the hospital at about 7:35 p.m. (Sunday, February 2, 2014), then headed out east on Jackson Street toward Marion, turning south. The SUV was traveling without headlights on as it left the vicinity, according to those official reports. Police are currently looking for this vehicle.
There has been no indication of the condition of the wounded man, as hospital authorities are disallowed to give information on such matters.
