HARDIN CO.—An issue of apparently pissed-off little girls at the high school in Hardin County taking out their frustrations against perceived “enemies” by creating a “kill list” on a piece of paper has a lot of parents up in arms…particularly the ones whose kids were on the list.
According to several of the affected parents, they are NOT taking the “threats” against their children likely; and while that’s all it is at this time, merely a “threat,” it’s nevertheless a very specific one: The two Freshman girls, one of whom outed herself in a Facebook post (shown below), created a list (the number of names varying; one source had it as containing as many as 106 names, others say it had only a handful) of people they intended to lure out to the San Damiano area of Hardin County, where there are steep and jagged rock facings over the Ohio. There, they would push the offending person off the cliff to his or her death. The list was literally called a “kill list” according to an alleged heading at the top of it. And what worries the parents most of all is that these two girls, they say, have been “acting out” the entire school year, bullying and making physical contact of a provoking nature against many of the kids on the list—without any recourse being taken by the school.
Here’s the convo wherein one of the girls outed herself, toward the end. We’re working on getting an actual screenshot:

8 hours ago · Unlike · 3Shayaunna Griswold Ever since Columbine all school threats have to be taken seriously, no matter who says them. *shrug* and Tiffany is right, it doesn’t take a psycho to kill. Just any idiot will work.

7 hours ago · Unlike · 3Austin German but why would you walk to a cliff with them? and im sure Columbines population was prolly just a bit bigger that big ol hardin county
7 hours ago · Like · 2Shayaunna Griswold Yes it was, but it shouldn’t be taken any less seriously. If they think they are big and bad enough to make the threats, then they should be big and bad enough to handle the consequences.
7 hours ago · Unlike · 5Tiffany Kumorek You dont have to walk to a cliff with them, you could be at a party & walk out back to pee (ex.. San Domino) & they just be waitn & give you a shove ANYTHING is possible!!!

Susie Moore Exactly!
7 hours ago · Like · 1Austin German yeah, and a squirrel could also kill a tiger, i mean anything is possible…but it probably isnt gonna happen…and they made this list as a joke, i know its stupid and not funny, but come on get real
7 hours ago · Like · 6Shayaunna Griswold You get what you serve, ya know? In the adult world, even if it is just a stupid joke, there are still consequences for it. All they are getting is a dose of reality.
7 hours ago · Unlike · 4Tiffany Kumorek REALLY you know for 100% fact that this KILL LIST is a joke???? Bc I with as deranged as them 2 girls are I dont & IDC how big they are, dynomite comes in small packages…
7 hours ago · LikeTiffany Kumorek Bc I *know* with
7 hours ago · LikeAustin German no im not sayin that im positive about it, im sayin that the odds of two freshman killing anyone are about even with the odds of a squirrel killing a tiger. and id watch about talkin about other peoples kids, and no that is not a threat dont go to channel 3 news and beg for it to be on the news, because most peoples parents probably dont like that too much
7 hours ago · Like · 3Tiffany Kumorek You can feel however you want about it but IM not taking ANY chances with it!!! I dont want to take the chance on taking it lightly & them going threw with it & something happening to my daughter or any of kid.. And yes Ive tried to get ALL news channels to hear me bc this SHOULD NOT be taken lightly!!! Sorry to have worried & bothered you Austin!!!

7 hours ago · LikeAustin German mr clutch baby
7 hours ago · LikeMadison Hirsch I’d just like to say, I’m one that made the list. AND I am dealin’ with consequences to anyone that likes to run their mouths about it. I was big & bad enough to make it and yes I am big and bad enough to deal with the consequences I have gotten. The ONLY reason it went out of proportion is because one certain family wanted it to be. It was a joke, and I’m sure every single person in this world has said they wish they could kill someone. So talk shit about this comment.

The parents are gathering tonight (Monday, January 23) at the school board meeting at 6:30 p.m. to show the board their level of concern, which is high. While the board cannot talk about students in an open meeting and will be going into closed session to discuss it (without the public being involved), the concerned parents are wishing to make their voices heard by the numbers, and they’re asking anyone concerned about it to join them. Hardin County Schools is outside Elizabethtown, for those not familiar with the area.
Those who are regular readers of the website and publication will remember just a few weeks ago, a school custodian in Harrisburg was arrested and charged with a Class X felony of making a terroristic threat after telling people if he didn’t get a job, he was going to shoot up the school (in effect.) Many believed what he did didn’t rise to a Class X felony; but these days, in our reactionary society wherein sometimes, in very limited occurrences, somebody DOES snap and take action on what they’ve been saying, it’s best to put out that little flame before it becomes an uncontrollable blaze.
What do you think, readers? Is this the posturing of two badly-behaved girls who probably have very little parental oversight and are just allowed to run rampant because they’re largely harmless toward the student body? Or do you believe that the threat is specific enough to warrant the outcry, and possible charges against these two?
