WILLIAMSON CO., Ill.—Another step has been taken in the prosecution of the woman alleged to have killed Barbara Beers this past fall.
Williamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick announced this morning that the suspect in the murder of Beers, Tamara J. Williams, age 30 of Johnston City, has been returned to Williamson County from Rutherford County, Tennessee.
Williams is being held in the Williamson County Jail on $1,000,000 bond. An initial court appearance is scheduled for Williams sometime today.
