HARDIN CO., Ill.—We’ve received paperwork on the ridiculous Order of Protection filed yesterday by Briannah Davis against Tami Jackson.
Here’s the front of it:
For those who aren’t following the case of missing woman Chrissy Williams of Shawneetown, who went missing from Rosiclare on december 2, 2013, Davis is one of the last two people to have known of Williams’ whereabouts, as Davis and Williams were with Scotty Miller at Miller’s parents’ house in Rosiclare when Williams ostensibly drove away around 9 that evening; Jackson is Williams’ sister, who has been leading the charge to find her sister against every possible obstacle.
While Davis’ allegations are that Jackson was verbally haranguing her at the ROC One in Rosiclare, the bulk of the gripe is over Facebook postings Jackson made on a page dedicated to finding Williams. While nothing like that has ever held up in court around here, you never know what these judges are going to think. The “emergency order” has been granted; but whether the plenary order will hold up as of the February 7 hearing remains to be seen.
We’ll have the full story in the print version, on stands next Tuesday and Wednesday at all vendors; or right here online at the e-Edition if you have an online membership, Monday night.
