HARDIN CO., Ill.—The woman who has been reported to be one of the last people to know of the whereabouts of missing person Chrissy Williams has been jailed in Massac County on Hardin County charges.

Briannah Davis

Briannah Davis

Briannah Davis, 26, most lately of Rosiclare, was taken into custody either yesterday or the day before (Sunday/Monday, January 19/20; we’re working on the specifics) by Hardin County officials on at least two counts, one of Theft, and one of Criminal Trespass to a Motor Vehicle. She was housed in Massac County, although their website doesn’t show her as being in custody; we’ve FOIAd for a mug.

Davis has gained a sort of notoriety for being one of the last known people to have seen missing person Chrissy Williams, 39, of Shawneetown, on the evening of December 2, 2013. Davis’ identity, as well as that of her sometime boyfriend, Scotty Miller, were kept quiet for quite some time following Williams’ disappearance, somewhat inexplicably, as there were too few details to go on for the public to adequately help in locating Williams or her vehicle.

The last time Disclosure spoke with Davis, she was in a harried state; she was upset that people were talking about her and were continually referencing the fact that she had had an addiction to pills, because she claimed to be “clean for 10 months now,” and that people were also continually bringing up her deceased sister, Savannah, who died as a result of the infamous “Fentanyl 5″ in Hardin back in 2007; the issue came to the fore in early 2009.

What prompted this most recent alleged action on Davis’ part is also inexplicable; we’re gathering more information, however, and will bring it to you in a week in the next print version (February 2014)…be watching.
