Look! Up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane!
No, Californians, it’s—an unidentified flying object?
Ubiquitous UFOs are flying the friendly skies over the Golden State, if residents are to be believed, ABC News reported Thursday.
Federal authorities insist there’s no “unusual flight activity,” but witnesses across California say differently.
“I seen like six bright orange-colored lights,” Stockton resident Kaye Pinlac told ABC. “They were almost like in a diamond or triangle shape. It was weird. And so they started just separating.”
ABC News affiliate News 10 said on New Year’s Eve, calls came in from all over Northern California, reporting sightings of UFOs. There were also sightings of what people believed to be UFOs in Oregon on New Year’s Eve.
It being the end of the year, a traditional time for celebration, you may be tempted to write the sightings off to an overabundance of alcohol or fireworks, but witnesses insist they saw, well, what they saw.
The news station said no two people saw the same thing, although lights were a constant, and previous sightings over California turned out to be arcing power lines or an airplane with an electronic sign.
But that doesn’t explain the pink UFOs that appeared on Google Maps in Texas and New Mexico.
