HARRIS COUNTY – Five people were wounded in a shooting Sunday afternoon in a Channelview neighborhood, deputies said.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene at 2 p.m. in the 900 block of Ashland.
Four were transported to an area hospital by vehicle, one was taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital, deputies said.
Neighbors tell KHOU 11 News that they saw a fight involving 20 people Sunday morning, and then three hours later, gunshots rang out.
