OLNEY—Official reports of a vehicle turned over on its side this morning (December 13, 2013) at around 11 a.m., outside of the Dairy Queen restaurant in Olney, will be coming next week, but plenty of unofficial reports were made to us today about it.
Olney Police Department, Olney Fire Department and a Richland Memorial Hospital’s ambulance responded to the scene, where the vehicle, which appeared to be a Saturn, either a light blue or green color, was flipped over on the driver’s side and the Olney Fire Department had to come in and extract the person from the vehicle. Witnesses state that there was also a pickup truck involved in the accident.
Details at this point are scant and a report will not be obtained until Monday (Dec. 16).
