A man chose to prove the theory that the TSA airport checks were meaningless. A man from Tennessee created a fully functional and deadly “gun” out of items that he purchased from the carry on store after going through the checks at the airport.
It may not look like much but don’t laugh. Evan Booth, who is a computer programmer out of Greensboro, Tennessee, took up a challenge that the TSA would not stop someone determined to harm the nation as a terrorist. He made this “gun” fully operational out of a hairdryer, batteries, a fridge magnet, a few hairbands, and other items he got in the retail stores past the security check points. He calls it a BLUNDERBUSiness.
With the “gun”, he was able to blow his pocket full of change through sheet rock walls. May not be that deadly to people, but what if it was aimed at an aircraft window at 30,000 ft?
